Paper masks

Inspired by the paper cutting exhibition that I went to see I wanted to do some form of paper cutting myself. I thought one way I could incorporate it into my work would be to paper cut some masks. So these ones below are a few I did, I wanted it to link to the henna patterns I had been drawing before so I drew patterns on the masks related to them patterns. 
I had a go at scanning in the masks and digitally overlaying it on the photo of Jess I took. I actually think this looks quite interesting... and obviously a lot different to the vector patterns.
