Hands and faces

After drawing different henna designs 2D I wanted to have a go at drawing some actual hands adorned with henna patterns. The one below I used the grey emulsion again. I then drew over it loosely with fine liner drawing the henna over the top.

I also wanted to have a go at drawing faces adorned with henna/mendi designs. I liked the idea of hiding/masking your indenity. So I decided to draw myself holding my hands over my eyes, and then draw henna/mendi designs over the hands.
